Raymond James Stadium, a 66,000-seat sports and entertainment venue in Tampa, Florida, faced aging, high-maintenance club-level video walls that no longer delivered the appearance or performance guests expected. To modernize the club lounges and deliver a “wow” factor with lower total cost of ownership, the stadium selected Planar Systems’ Clarity Matrix LCD Video Wall System.

Planar Systems supplied more than 100 46" Clarity Matrix displays (installed March 2010) configured into four 5x5 video walls, each delivering nearly 400 sq. ft. of image area with a mere 7.3 mm pixel-to-pixel gap, 1366×768 resolution, 700-nit brightness, 3,000:1 contrast and a 50,000-hour rated life. The Planar Systems solution improved image quality and guest experience across club lounges, simplified maintenance with off-board electronics and EasyAxis mounting, and reduced long-term ownership costs.
