P.J. Clarke’s, the longtime Manhattan saloon now operating in the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace, faced the challenge of integrating modern, large-format video content into the antique Majestic Phoenix Bar without altering the bar’s narrow mirror-framed architecture. Standard LED displays would not fit in the restricted space behind the mirror, so the restaurant turned to Planar Systems and its Clarity Matrix LCD Video Wall System to deliver a high-quality, space-constrained solution.

Planar Systems installed a four-wide-by-two-high Clarity Matrix array (51.21 sq. ft.) with ultra-thin panels (under 4 inches deep), EasyAxis mounting for precise alignment, and off-board electronics to keep the display cool in the confined space. The wall delivers 700 nits, 3000:1 contrast, 1366×768 HD resolution and 178° viewing, supports preset touch-screen content layouts for sports, advertising and streamed programming, and runs reliably 24/7 — giving P.J. Clarke’s striking imagery, easy content control, reduced infrastructure and maintenance needs, and increased guest engagement.
