Mary’s Woods at Marylhurst, a continuing care retirement community in Lake Oswego, OR, sought a modern digital signage solution to keep residents, staff and visitors informed and engaged across campus. Planar Systems provided commercial-grade Planar PS-Series displays (two PS4652 and three PS5552) engineered in Beaverton and integrated on-site by EcoDigital Media to meet the community’s need for clear, reliable 24/7 communication.

Planar Systems’ implementation deployed five Planar PS-Series LCDs driven by six BrightSign XD230 media players to deliver zoned, scheduled and tailored content—daily calendars, menus, event videos and announcements—at key locations, improving engagement and targeted communication across the campus. The displays have run reliably with no replacements needed to date, and Planar Systems’ solution will expand with three interactive Planar PS4661T touch displays to add food ordering, event RSVP and transportation scheduling, demonstrating measurable rollout (5 displays, 6 players, +3 planned interactive units) and greater resident/staff interaction.
