Livsreise - Norwegian Heritage Center - Customer Case Study

Livsreise - Norwegian Heritage Center in Stoughton, Wisconsin needed an engaging, museum-quality way to tell the story of Norwegian immigration and connect visitors with local heritage. To create an immersive, interactive exhibit, the center partnered with Planar Systems and deployed Planar products including the Planar Mosaic Architectural Video Wall along with Planar PS Series and Planar PT Series touch displays.

Planar Systems provided a configurable Planar Mosaic Map Wall (an array of 33 tiles anchoring the 1,100 sq ft exhibit) plus seven independent Mosaic tiles in a Journey Wall, five Planar PS Series Heritage Kiosks (46") and four Planar PT Series Story Kiosks (32"). ZEBRADOG’s interactive table and software drive life‑like 4K narratives to the Mosaic wall; the off‑board power design reduces heat/noise to protect artifacts; displays deliver 450‑nit brightness and 960×960 resolution. The result is a highly engaging, durable, and accessible experience that staff call the exhibit’s “crown jewel,” driving visitor attention and establishing Livsreise as the place to learn about Stoughton’s Norwegian culture.
