Leyard LED Video Wall Provides Efficient Interface for Digital Control System of Waste-to-Energy Facility

TIRU, a French waste‑to‑energy company based in Issy‑les‑Moulineaux, needed a modern control‑room display after its rear‑projection system neared end of life. To improve system monitoring and operator workflows, TIRU selected Planar Systems’ Leyard TWA Series fine‑pitch LED video wall (TWA1.4) as the replacement display solution.

Planar Systems installed a 3x3 Leyard TWA1.4 (1.4 mm pixel pitch) video wall engineered for 24x7 operation with optional redundant video and power, delivering higher image quality and a much wider viewing angle than the previous system. The new Leyard video wall improved process visibility and operator efficiency, provided a simpler, more effective interface for control‑room staff, and doubled as a clear communication tool during facility visits.
