Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health sought to modernize its Anna M. Baetjer room—replacing an old projector/screen with a state-of-the-art display that would support lectures, meetings, video conferencing and special events while providing a visual “wow” factor. Planar Systems supplied a Leyard TWA Series LED video wall (3×2 configuration, 12.5 ft × 5 ft, TWA1.2 1.2 mm pixel pitch) along with the Clarity VCS video wall processor to meet those needs.

Planar Systems’ solution — installed by CCS Presentation Systems — delivered high pixel density, seamless, high-contrast imagery with excellent off-axis uniformity while the Clarity VCS enabled flexible multi-source capture, display and windowing across the wall. The result is a versatile, visually striking centerpiece now used for lectures, presentations, video conferencing and events, significantly upgrading the room’s AV capabilities and leaving stakeholders saying the installation “delivered more than expected.”
