Israel Television News Company, the shared news division of Keshet 12 and Reshet 13 in Jerusalem, needed to modernize its on‑camera display technology to improve picture quality and camera compatibility for daily broadcasts. The broadcaster engaged Planar Systems to replace older screens with Leyard TWA Series and Leyard CarbonLight CLI Series LED video walls.

Planar Systems installed a Leyard TWA Series TWA1.8 (1.8mm) behind the news desk for weather, a Leyard CarbonLight CLI2.6 on a motorized riser as the anchor backdrop, and a CLI3.9 on the front of the desk. The high‑density, high‑refresh displays delivered deeper blacks, better color‑temperature compatibility, 24x7 reliability and improved studio camera performance, resulting in clearer images and enhanced detail in weather and news broadcasts, according to CTO Rami Daniel.
