InfoComm International upgraded the Randal A. Lemke Center classroom to address the need for a durable, high‑quality display that would support AV training in a space with high ambient light and limited wall depth. InfoComm selected Planar Systems’ Clarity Matrix LCD Video Wall (a 6×3 array of 55-inch MX55HD panels) to modernize its information‑presentation capabilities and give students hands‑on exposure to current AV technology.

Planar Systems installed the slim (<4 in.) Clarity Matrix with off‑board electronics and the EasyAxis™ Mounting System, delivering easier servicing, remote power monitoring, and reduced heat and cooling needs. The solution’s built‑in content presets and 3,500:1 contrast ratio improved visibility in ambient light, eliminated the need for extra video‑processing or power‑monitoring gear, and enabled InfoComm to train more people more effectively while meeting InfoComm/ANSI energy‑management standards.
