Gensler, the global architecture and design firm, wanted to transform its Los Angeles lobby into an immersive, interactive portfolio space that could showcase high-resolution content without compromise. To meet the challenge of presenting 4k-quality visuals in a bright, street-facing environment and to create a dynamic, touch-driven experience, Gensler selected Planar Systems’ Clarity Matrix LCD Video Wall System (Clarity Matrix MX55).

Planar Systems delivered a 2x2 Clarity Matrix MX55 video wall integrated with an interactive table and 4k playback tools to create the Gensler/Hive Multi‑Surface Experience. The solution preserved full 4k content, offered powerful scaling and multiple inputs, and used the EasyAxis mounting system for a virtually seamless 5.5 mm tiled bezel; with 700 nits brightness and a 3500:1 contrast ratio the wall performs well in high ambient light. The result is an “amazing” lobby attraction that reinforces Gensler’s innovative brand, provides long-term reliability, and highlights content quality and flexibility for visitors and staff.
