Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel wanted a more effective, soothing focal point for its chapel than traditional static artwork—one that would support its Christian heritage and help comfort patients and families. The hospital selected Planar Systems’ Planar Mosaic architectural video wall (and used the Planar Mosaic Project Designer tool) to deliver a leading-edge visual centerpiece that would both attract attention and create a calming, spiritual atmosphere.

Planar Systems’ Planar Mosaic was specified and installed (by integrator Sound Stage) as a 15-panel arrangement using three tile sizes and intentional negative space that forms a cross, with overlapping tiles for depth and HD content routed to individual tiles as needed. Using Planar Mosaic Project Designer to previsualize the design sped decision-making, and the Mosaic Mount hardware simplified installation and maintenance so a single technician can handle alignment and service (versus two for other systems), saving time and labor while delivering a memorable, serene environment for chapel visitors.
