A Planar Systems Case Study

Preview of the World Wide Technology Case Study

Diverse Assembly of Display Technologies Drive Collaboration and Enhance Client Connections at New World Wide Technology Global Headquarters

World Wide Technology (WWT), a global technology solutions provider headquartered in St. Louis, opened a new 208,000 sq. ft. headquarters designed for collaboration and remote engagement and needed advanced display technologies to showcase innovation and connect teams. After reviewing bids, WWT engaged Coltrane Systems to integrate solutions from Leyard and Planar Systems, selecting Planar products including a Planar Mosaic Video Wall, the Leyard TWA Series LED video wall, Planar UltraRes Series displays and a Planar UltraRes Touch to meet presentation, digital art and interactive display needs.

Planar Systems’ installations include a 50‑tile Planar Mosaic architectural video wall in the atrium, a 55‑foot‑long Leyard TWA Series 1.8mm LED wall (13 feet high) in the 300‑seat auditorium, six 86‑inch Planar UltraRes flanking screens, multiple 98‑inch UltraRes displays across workspaces and a Planar UltraRes Touch in the lobby. These deployments have driven excitement and engagement, supported weekly executive briefings and enhanced global connectivity (enabling live video conferencing with offices in Singapore, London and South America), reinforced corporate culture messaging and delivered measurable scale and fidelity—e.g., the 50‑tile Mosaic and 55‑ft LED wall—positioning Planar Systems as a key enabler of WWT’s collaborative HQ.
