Clarity Matrix Video Walls Serve As Versatile Learning Tools at Morgan State University

Morgan State University outfitted its new Martin D. Jenkins Behavioral and Social Sciences Center with modern collaboration and presentation tools to support 21st‑century learners, digital signage, and flexible classroom use. To meet those needs the university worked with Planar Systems, deploying Clarity Matrix LCD Video Wall Systems (including Clarity Matrix MultiTouch) as core visual and interactive displays throughout the building.

Planar Systems’ solution—installed by Design & Integration—included a 4x4 Clarity Matrix atrium video wall and a 3x3 Clarity Matrix MultiTouch in the IDD suite, with Planar Big Picture Plus processing, Crestron AirMedia wireless sharing, and off‑board architecture for simplified installation. The deployment delivers Full HD tiled visuals, up to 32 simultaneous touch points, wireless student content sharing, and overflow viewing for adjacent lecture spaces, resulting in a more collaborative learning environment, easier AV integration, and enhanced presentation capability for recruitment and funding efforts.
