Clarity Matrix Video Walls Create Immersive Retail Experience And Support Continued Worldwide Brand Building

Gucci wanted to transform its flagship boutiques into highly impactful, technology-driven retail destinations to deepen customer engagement and make brand experiences more shareable. To accomplish this, Gucci worked with Planar Systems to deploy Clarity Matrix ultra-thin, near-seamless LCD video walls (with OOOii’s graphics engine) as digital signage and interactive displays across five flagship stores, including Milano Monte Napoleone, Saint Tropez, Hong Kong, New York Macy’s and Dubai Mall.

Planar Systems’ Clarity Matrix solution delivered energy-efficient, high-resolution video walls capable of 4K/5K imagery, remote management and Kinect-enabled interactivity (including Stairway Interactive Videowalls). The installations created life-size, interactive presentations of fashion shows and product films across five global locations, significantly enhancing in-store engagement and positioning Gucci’s boutiques as some of the most technologically advanced retail environments in the world.
