Clarity Matrix Video Wall Enables Efficiency and Flexibility in Control Room Operations

The North Jersey District Water Supply Commission (NJDWSC), the municipal water supplier serving customers across 12 counties in northern New Jersey, needed a more secure, efficient and reliable way to monitor and control water levels and flows from the Wanaque River reservoir. To replace scattered desktop monitors and give operators a unified view of pipelines, pump stations, dams and live weather feeds, NJDWSC selected Planar Systems’ Clarity Matrix LCD Video Wall (Clarity Matrix MX46HDS) for its control room.

Planar Systems supplied a three-wide-by-two-high Clarity Matrix video wall with the EasyAxis mounting system (installed and integrated by TDK Systems Group), featuring a 5.5 mm tiled bezel, single power/data cabling to a remote rack, high brightness and flexible display presets. The solution gives operators and managers a clear, readable view of the entire delivery network in real time, improving teamwork, troubleshooting and overall network management while reducing installation complexity and ongoing service burden.
