The Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA) needed high‑resolution, reliable display technology to communicate messaging and support meetings at its Convention 2016 in Macao. CASBAA engaged Planar Systems and deployed Leyard TWA Series (TWA1.2) fine‑pitch LED walls and a Leyard CarbonLight CLI Series (CLI3.9) video wall to provide large‑format, high‑detail presentation surfaces for its conference room.

Planar Systems installed two Leyard TWA Series 3×3 walls (1.25mm pitch, 59,450 pixels/sq ft) and a Leyard CarbonLight CLI 14×8 array (3.9mm pitch) delivering 800–1000 nit brightness, 4000:1 contrast, fanless operation, ~50,000‑hour lifespan and up to 35% lower power use with a black screen. The solution produced crisp 4K video and legible text/graphics, sped up installation and tear‑down thanks to lightweight carbon‑fiber construction and easy bracketry, and measurably improved visual quality, serviceability and power efficiency for CASBAA.
