Burgerville, the Pacific Northwest quick-serve chain with 39 locations, needed a more flexible, durable way to present menu information and respond quickly to price or product changes while supporting a new bright-store design. To address this, Burgerville partnered with Planar Systems and chose Planar PS-Series large-format LCD displays for digital menu boards.

Planar Systems supplied three 55-inch PS-Series (PS5550) commercial-grade displays for the Tigard pilot store, installed by Entouch Solutions in a largely plug-and-play setup; the full-HD, bright panels withstand quick-serve conditions and simplified cabling and mounting. The solution cut menu and price update time from 3–6 weeks to about 24 hours, generated strong positive customer feedback and credited sales increases at the pilot location, and positioned the Planar Systems deployment as the model for future remodels and new stores.
