Baker Hughes, a Houston-based oilfield services company, needed an engaging way to educate, inform and inspire employees at its new Western Hemisphere Education Center to help attract and retain top engineers. To strengthen branding and learning in the main lobby, Baker Hughes selected Planar Systems to provide advanced digital display solutions, including the Planar Mosaic Video Wall and the Clarity Matrix MultiTouch LCD Video Wall.

Planar Systems installed a 24-tile Planar Mosaic array (mixed AD-22/AD-46/AD-55 tiles) and a 16-foot Clarity Matrix MultiTouch history table (55" LX55HD-L-ERO), integrating YCD’s content platform to present timelines, 250+ video clips and hundreds of touch-triggered images. The Planar Systems solution delivers a near three-dimensional, scalable display canvas and a 32-touch-point interactive surface, increasing employee engagement, reinforcing company messaging and creating a memorable, technology-forward lobby that supports training and brand loyalty.
