Aventura Mall - Customer Case Study

Aventura Mall, Miami’s premier fashion destination with more than 300 retailers and roughly 30 million annual visitors, sought modern, architecturally integrated digital directories that combined interactive wayfinding and high-quality advertising while blending into the mall’s design. Turnberry Associates and integrator CMA Digital selected Planar Systems to supply the displays, using Planar UltraLux Touch 70" displays to meet those aesthetic and functional goals.

Planar Systems delivered dual-sided Planar UltraLux Touch directories (one side interactive wayfinding with CMA’s vector maps and HTML5 mobile handoff, the other side advertising) featuring Planar ERO optically bonded Corning Gorilla Glass, 700 cd/m2 brightness, 1920×1080 resolution, 5000:1 contrast, six-touch capability, redundant power supplies and networked content/remote monitoring. The solution created a highly engaging shopper experience at each mall entrance, enabled targeted, day-timed advertising and remote health monitoring, and provided the reliability for 24x7 operation with virtually uninterrupted uptime.
