AIA Portland, operator of the Center for Architecture, needed to replace an outdated projector system with a modern display that reflected the visual standards of the architecture and design community. After consulting with Leyard and Planar Systems, AIA Portland selected a Planar Systems UltraRes Series 98-inch 4K LCD display to serve as the Center’s primary presentation system.

Planar Systems installed the Planar UltraRes 98-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) display with a slim, narrow-bezel profile and Planar Profile Mounting System, delivering higher-resolution, HDMI-ready presentations for meetings, classes, exhibits and public events. The upgrade produced noticeably crisper imagery visible from the back of the room, streamlined integration and serviceability, and made the space more marketable for events and education—replacing the projector with true Ultra HD clarity.
