73 East Lake, a new luxury rental building developed by M&R Development in Chicago’s Millennium Park area, needed a way to stand out in a fiercely competitive market and drive leasing interest. They engaged Planar Systems (via dealer TVTI) to provide a signature visual element—Planar Mosaic architectural video wall—to establish a bold, tech-forward lobby identity that’s visible from the street.
Planar Systems delivered a 15-tile Planar Mosaic installation (nine 22" AD22, three 46" AD46 and three 55" AD55 tiles) arranged with intentional negative space and running vivid 4K content (700-nit brightness, 1920×1080, 17M colors). The installation increased foot- and street-level attention, boosted brand recognition and leasing inquiries, attracted interest from other developers, and reduced lobby heat/noise and cooling costs thanks to Planar Mosaic’s off-board power design—extending display life and improving overall ROI.
