A Plan A Case Study

Supporting GANNI to decarbonise their supply chain and become a sustainability leader in the fashion industry

GANNI, the Danish fashion brand, wanted to move beyond basic carbon offsetting and gain a much more granular understanding of its carbon footprint in order to build a stronger decarbonisation strategy. Working with Plan A’s carbon accounting and sustainability management platform, GANNI set out to measure emissions more accurately across its supply chain and support its ambition to become a sustainability leader in fashion.

Plan A calculated GANNI’s full corporate carbon footprint using GHG Protocol methodology, supported annual reporting, and helped define reduction targets and decarbonisation pathways, including insetting and materials transition strategies. The partnership has helped GANNI achieve a 7% emissions reduction in 2023 versus its 2021 baseline, onboard 5 suppliers to its carbon insetting initiative, and launch pilots to reduce air freight emissions and waste through fibre-to-fibre recycling.
