Finnish National Opera and Ballet - Customer Case Study

The Finnish National Opera and Ballet worked with Plan Brothers to improve how safety observations and incidents were reported across its large, mixed workforce of salaried staff, hourly workers, and visiting artists. Before the change, critical observations and accidents were tracked in Excel, while other notes were handled by email or even paper slips, making the process fragmented and hard to manage. The organization selected Plan Brothers’ incy.io, with user-friendliness and mobile usability as key requirements.

Plan Brothers implemented incy.io to let staff quickly report accidents, near misses, good practices, and other observations with just a few clicks, automatically capturing details like time and location when possible. The system was first rolled out in high-risk areas such as the stage and property room, and now supports about 160 users. As a result, The Finnish National Opera and Ballet gained more transparency, shorter response times, and easier internal management of safety reporting, while also reducing reliance on email chains and paper notes.
