Kipit needed to launch a high-performance mobile app and backoffice platform for its personalized photo product service within a very ambitious three-month timeline. The challenge for Plain Concepts was to develop Android and iOS apps with a robust backend capable of processing large image uploads and handling payments, all while ensuring the solution could scale to thousands of users immediately after launch.

Plain Concepts developed the mobile apps using Flutter and the backoffice with Angular 2+, supported by a Spring with Kotlin backend on AWS. This approach enabled a fast, reliable launch with critical features like Stripe payments and high-performance image handling. The result was a stable product successfully launched to market, providing Kipit with the ability to iterate quickly on UX and maintain reliable performance, leading to an ongoing collaboration with Plain Concepts to continue evolving the platform.
