A PlaceSpeak Case Study

City of Encinitas - Customer Case Study

The City of Encinitas launched the Coastal Mobility and Livability Study to gather resident input on improving the coastal corridor and active (bicycle and pedestrian) transportation network while balancing mobility improvements with the community’s character. To reach stakeholders across its five communities and validate location-specific feedback, the City used PlaceSpeak’s location-based engagement platform.

PlaceSpeak provided surveys, discussions, PlaceIt location-tagging and polls with location validation to collect verifiable qualitative and quantitative input: 1,480 unique views, 375 connected participants, 298 completed surveys, 96 comments and 84 poll responses. That feedback helped City working groups design several concept alternatives for the corridor, demonstrating PlaceSpeak’s measurable impact on outreach and decision-making.
