High-Profile Federal Government Agency, responsible for protecting millions of daily travelers and employing over 50,000 people worldwide, faced gaps in data protection: unsecured email exchanges, weak passphrase-only encryption, no agency-wide encryption policy, and noncompliance with FIPS 140 and HSPD-12. The agency evaluated and selected PKWARE’s data discovery and protection/encryption solution to meet federal encryption standards and enable centralized administrative control.

PKWARE deployed its encryption across more than 50,000 end-user devices, the agency mainframe, and 100+ departmental servers, delivering a single agency-wide encryption policy, PKI and FIPS 140-2 support, and stronger encryption.
