Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, a beloved boutique hospitality brand known for unique guest experiences, wanted to boost social media engagement and drive more online bookings by showcasing authentic guest stories. Facing a treasure trove of user-generated content, Kimpton needed an efficient way to collect, celebrate and display guests’ photos and videos across property sites and owned channels.

Kimpton partnered with Pixlee to amplify a Pet Photo Contest and then roll out customer photo galleries on individual property pages. Pixlee provided collection, voting, moderation and display tools (including a lightbox that links to hotel availability), making it easy to permission and manage a high volume of UGC. The program proved highly successful: the contest drove strong engagement, and Pixlee-powered galleries now appear on over 60 Kimpton destination pages, helping convert social inspiration into online bookings.
