Munchkin, a consumer-packaged goods brand known for innovative baby-care products, needed to bring its online shopping experience to life and strengthen its brand community. The challenge was helping shoppers assess product use and quality without touching items in-store by using authentic customer stories to build trust and contextualize products.
Partnering with Pixlee, Munchkin discovered, curated and published thousands of user-generated photos and videos across product pages, shoppable Instagram galleries and email campaigns (via Bronto) with minimal engineering overhead. The UGC-driven program boosted performance: shoppers exposed to customer content were 2.3x more likely to purchase and average order value increased by 20%.
