PixelPlex Team, a group working on a decentralized storage network, faced challenges with the existing Filecoin project, including high mining thresholds, network congestion, and an unfriendly token distribution model. They engaged PixelPlex to design an improved incentive layer to overcome these obstacles and facilitate a more robust Web3 infrastructure.

PixelPlex designed and implemented FileStar, a solution featuring technical innovations like recursive zk-SNARK technology to improve transaction throughput, advanced hash algorithms to support more hardware types, and a refined tokenomics model. This resulted in lower mining requirements, improved scalability, and more efficient resource utilization for the network, laying the groundwork for a fully-fledged Web3 internet infrastructure.
