Blockcerts, founded by Tim Vasko, needed a more secure and efficient way to issue, share, and verify official digital credentials across industries like FinTech, MedTech, Real Estate, and Supply Chain. To address the limitations of traditional records systems and costly middlemen, Blockcerts worked with PixelPlex to build a blockchain-based digital document verification platform with stronger identity protection and easier access to trusted information.

PixelPlex implemented a decentralized blockchain ledger with smart contract-based access restrictions, AML/KYC functionality, a two-way ETH-to-BCERTS token converter, token-based transaction fee payments, and a custom JavaScript library for blockchain integration. The solution automated and logged transactions, improved record security and immutability, and laid the groundwork for third-party UI applications, helping Blockcerts deliver a more secure, automated, and collaborative certification infrastructure with no annual license or monthly fees.
