A Pixellot Case Study
Cooperstown All Star Village (CASV), a 70-acre youth baseball resort in Cooperstown, New York, needed a better way to cover its annual 12U tournament across 12 fields. Its existing setup relied on a few young staff members, tripod cameras, and unreliable IP cameras, but it was difficult to film every game because some fields lacked power and internet access, and staffing a camera operator for each game was not feasible.
Pixellot solved this by installing DoublePlay AI cameras and creating a dedicated OTT streaming channel with a $99 paywall to monetize the games. With Pixellot’s solution, CASV delivered full tournament coverage, reached more than 2,100 customers and 140,000 views, and generated six-figure revenue through a rev share model, while also boosting fan engagement and earning national attention for one viral highlight clip.
