Large-Scale Youth Sports Tournament Coverage Powered by Pixellot & Hogak

The Large-Scale Youth Sports Tournament, the 2025 Hwarang Daegi Youth Soccer Competition in Korea, needed a way to deliver comprehensive live and on-demand coverage for one of the country’s biggest youth sporting events. With 727 teams, 15,000 players, and about 2,200 games in just 14 days, the organizer needed a scalable, high-uptime solution with minimal on-site manpower. Pixellot, working with the Hogak OTT sports streaming platform, provided the technology for automated event coverage.

Pixellot deployed 26 AI-powered camera systems in total, including 18 Pixellot S1 units and 8 Pixellot S3 units, to handle automated capture, switching, and streaming across multiple venues. The result was about 2,200 games streamed live, an overall uptime of 99.7%, and strong audience engagement through Hogak OTT’s $4 full-event VOD model, which generated 4,000+ paying subscribers and about $16,000 in immediate subscription revenue. Pixellot also helped demonstrate that large-scale youth sports can be covered efficiently, reliably, and profitably.
