BlackHawk Aeronautical Solutions, a real estate company in Canada, needed a better way to showcase a large luxury property in Edmonton so potential buyers could quickly understand its scale, surroundings, and appeal. They turned to Pix4D and its Pix4Dmapper photogrammetry software to create a more compelling 3D representation of the property.

Pix4D used drone imagery from a DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus and processed 517 images from five flights to build a near-perfect 3D model, including detailed views of the facades and surrounding area. The result was delivered very quickly: all imagery was captured in under an hour, and the data was processed and turned into a final video within one day, giving BlackHawk Aeronautical Solutions an up-to-date 3D view they could use to attract buyers.
