HDI (HDI Global SE), a global industrial-lines insurer serving SMEs, industrial companies and corporate customers across 150+ countries, faced the challenge of segmenting diverse visitors on its 20-country/8-language site, identifying potential customers and sales partners by country and product interest, mapping all customer touchpoints and accurately measuring channel performance. To meet these needs HDI turned to Piwik PRO, using the Piwik PRO Customer Data Platform (CDP) together with Consent Manager and Custom Reports for compliant data collection and detailed audience segmentation.

Using Piwik PRO, HDI built a single customer view that combines form and tariff-calculator data with behavioral and CRM/ERP inputs, enabling precise audience creation by country, product interest and buyer stage. Piwik PRO’s analytics and journey analysis revealed a previously overlooked, high-performing channel and supported a reallocation of ad spend, while targeted content and location-based personalization increased conversions via contact forms and tariff calculators.
