ŠKODA AUTO uses Piwik PRO Analytics to better inform their employees and improve engagement

ŠKODA AUTO, the Czech automobile manufacturer, needed better insight into how employees used custom SAP Fiori HR applications and the ŠKODA Space intranet to improve communication and engagement. Facing strict privacy and security rules that prevented sending certain personal data to public clouds, ŠKODA AUTO selected Piwik PRO and its Piwik PRO Analytics Suite to provide secure, on-premise‑compatible analytics and clear usage metrics.

Piwik PRO deployed Analytics Suite—initially tracking a few SAP Fiori apps and later extending to ŠKODA Space—giving predefined reports on visits, device types, peak times and campaign reach. With Piwik PRO’s data, ŠKODA AUTO increased intranet adoption, better organized employee information, measured and improved campaign performance, and boosted SAP Fiori application speed while reducing errors, all while maintaining the company’s required high level of data security.
