Rawlplug, a global manufacturing company operating in more than 101 countries, needed better analytics to understand where its online sales were coming from and how customers moved through the buying journey. Its existing Google Analytics 4 setup was losing data, misattributing traffic, and couldn’t accurately handle the complexity of Rawlplug’s ecommerce and pricing structure.
To solve this, Rawlplug implemented Piwik PRO Analytics Suite, including its freemium analytics offering, Consent Manager, Tag Manager, and Customer Data Platform. With Piwik PRO, Rawlplug increased traffic attribution from 30% to 95%, attributed nearly 100% of online transactions to specific sources, and achieved 98–99% data accuracy against accounting records. Piwik PRO also helped improve campaign tracking, sales visibility, product planning, and GDPR-compliant data collection.
