Case Study: NYC Voter launches a multi-device photo-sharing ecosystem and builds an agile team with Pivotal

A Pivotal Case Study

Preview of the NYC Voter Case Study

Transforming the way New Yorkers interact with political candidates

Post+Beam, an innovation and communications firm in New York, engaged Pivotal Labs to build Linea, a startup photo-sharing product. Their challenge was to launch a polished iOS app and website while also building and training an in-house development team that could manage and grow the product after launch.

Pivotal co-created a multi-device photo ecosystem that organizes images into personalized mosaics and “lines” with selective sharing, comments, and instant cross-device access, using test-driven development for stability. They also recruited and trained Linea’s developers in agile practices; the result was an on-time launch across iPhone, iPad, and web, a stable product, and a seamless handoff to the newly trained team.
