Newedge, a global multi-asset brokerage operating on more than 85 exchanges, launched its NVision program to modernize post‑trading systems and meet growing, volatile market demands. The firm needed an agile, scalable architecture that could absorb trading peaks, give real‑time, global visibility into trades, and shorten client on‑boarding and trade‑repair cycles.

Pivotal delivered an open‑source, cloud‑ready PaaS built on Spring, RabbitMQ and Pivotal GemFire with a staged event‑driven design, eliminating single points of failure. The solution provided a single global dashboard and cache, “cradle‑to‑grave” trade visibility, replay/repair independent of IT, faster client onboarding, proactive break management, horizontal scalability as markets were added, and reduced time‑to‑market for new adapters.
