Purdue University, a public research university serving nearly 75,000 students, sought to expand its Signals academic‑analytics program to deliver earlier, more targeted insights. The challenge was to incorporate additional data sources and real‑time analysis so students could be identified and supported before or as they enter college—not only after they enroll in a course.
