A Pivotal Case Study
CoreLogic, a market-leading provider of property information, real estate transaction services and analytics, faced a fragmented, costly IT environment after years of growth through mergers and acquisitions. With more than 700 legacy applications, 50–70% data redundancy, and inconsistent development practices, the company struggled to turn its extensive data assets into new, real‑time products and mobile experiences for clients.
CoreLogic created an Innovation Development Center and partnered with Pivotal to adopt Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Pivotal Labs, standardizing development and data management across hybrid clouds. The initiative consolidated applications toward ~300–400, produced new offerings (Online Leasing and CondoSafe) and enabled faster, lower‑cost delivery of cloud‑native apps, real‑time analytics and blended data sources—improving performance, client experience and time to market.
