Launching a multiple-device photo-sharing ecosystem

Post+Beam, an innovation and communications firm, engaged Pivotal Labs to build Linea, a startup photo‑sharing service focused on a seamless multi‑device experience. The primary challenge was delivering iOS apps and a web platform while also creating an in‑house development team that could manage and evolve the product after launch.

Pivotal co‑created the product and built a platform that organizes photos into a personalized mosaic and “lines” for selective sharing, comments and captions, enabling instant access across iPhone, iPad and web. They recruited and trained Linea’s developers in agile and test‑driven practices, resulting in an on‑time launch, a stable codebase and a smooth handoff to the newly trained internal team.
