Bakrie Telecom, a fast‑growing fixed wireless operator in Indonesia now serving more than 82 cities, faced explosive subscriber growth (prepaid and postpaid customers more than doubled to 14.4 million in one quarter) that generated terabytes of daily data. That surge overwhelmed legacy systems, causing slow processing, poor visibility into key metrics, and an inability for decision makers to get timely insights across sales, marketing, billing and CRM.

Bakrie deployed Pivotal Greenplum Database to build a scalable data warehouse and BI platform, integrating Oracle BI, SPSS Clementine and Solusi247 ETL. The system now stores over 72 TB, processes ~100 million rows per day and profiles 5 million subscribers, delivering immediate visibility via intuitive dashboards, faster analytics for acquisition/retention and strategic reporting, and the scalable performance to support future growth.
