Case Study: Leicester City Football Club achieves continuous, scalable stadium video surveillance with Pivot3

A Pivot3 Case Study

Preview of the Leicester City Football Club Case Study

English Premier League 2016 Champions Trust Pivot3 with Their Most Critical Video Data

Leicester City F.C., playing at the 32,626-seat King Power Stadium, needed a robust surveillance upgrade after a 2013 security review to ensure continuous, high-quality recording for crowd safety and law enforcement use. The club faced the challenge of protecting terabytes of monthly video, making footage easily accessible to non-technical security staff, and doing all this with a two-person IT team while remaining scalable and compatible with legacy systems.

Pivot3, working with ADT and Milestone, deployed its Surveillance Series hyperconverged platform to support 120 cameras and about 24 TB of monthly video, consolidating video management and access control onto a single, easy-to-manage system. Built-in failover and fault tolerance increased uptime and image quality, centralized management reduced errors and saved time, and simple incremental scaling let the club expand capacity without large upfront costs.
