Caesars Entertainment Upgrades to Hyperconverged Infrastructure to Improve the Customer Experience

Caesars Entertainment EMEA, a leading gaming and hospitality operator, needed to replace aging analog CCTV, NVR and DVR systems with a modern, compliant video surveillance platform that ensured continuous recording, protected stored video and scaled across multiple sites. The company also required an industry-standard hardware approach where the value would come from software capabilities, and sought seamless integration with the Milestone VMS.

Caesars deployed Pivot3’s hyperconverged infrastructure—using standard servers to consolidate storage, compute and VMS hosting—which delivered software-defined resiliency, easy linear scalability and proven Milestone interoperability. The rollout updated six venues (75–200 cameras per site) with typical site configurations of four nodes and ~70 TB storage to meet 31-day retention; results included stronger data protection and compliance, lower costs and complexity, and the ability to extend the platform into other datacenter workloads.
