Michelin needed a better way to manage sales content and field work across a global team. Sales collateral was scattered across multiple repositories, remote reps often worked without internet access, and tasks like visit reports, follow-ups, and TCO calculations for truck fleets were time-consuming and cumbersome. Pitcher helped address these challenges with its native sales engagement application.
Pitcher implemented an offline-capable solution integrated with Salesforce.com and Michelin’s TIM system to automate customer-specific TCO calculations, visit reports, and follow-ups while making sales presentations more customer centric. The rollout reached more than 2,300 sales reps in over 40 countries, cut meeting preparation and reporting time to just a few minutes, improved CRM adoption, and gave marketing detailed insight into collateral usage down to the page level.
