Global Pet Food Manufacturing Company, a global pet food manufacturer, needed a way to improve field sales efficiency and the quality of customer interactions across retail stores, veterinary clinics, breeders, and shelters. It also needed to support three distinct business lines—Retail, Veterinary, and Professionals—each with different sales processes, while linking marketing and sales more effectively. Pitcher’s mobile sales force mobility platform was selected to help address these needs.
Pitcher implemented one common offline-capable mobile solution with tailored “playbooks” for each business unit, supporting route planning, call execution, store audits, shelf-space checks, and contractual compliance on a single device. Pitcher also centralized the creation and distribution of sales materials through Pitcher Instore and Pitcher Admin, while enabling interaction data analysis for sales and marketing insights. The solution was deployed in two months, and user adoption and usability reached 95%, with reps able to enter data easily both online and offline.
