BIBUS AG unifies 20 websites in one TYPO3 installation with PIT Solutions

The customer, BIBUS AG, a manufacturing and automation group with subsidiaries across Europe, faced the challenge of managing multiple websites for its international operations. They partnered with vendor PIT Solutions to build and consolidate approximately 20 domain page trees within a single TYPO3 installation to streamline their web presence.

PIT Solutions developed a custom TYPO3-based solution, creating numerous bespoke extensions to handle features like document, fair, and menu management. A key achievement was building a custom cookie_control extension for EU compliance, which was subsequently published to the public TYPO3 repository. This project successfully provided BIBUS AG with a unified and efficient system to manage its diverse web assets across different countries and languages.
