Simpleshow, a German animation studio that produces short, handcrafted explainer videos, needed a visual, intuitive way to manage a high volume of parallel projects that all follow the same production workflow. Traditional project-management tools they tried were built for one large project with many tasks and couldn’t easily show the status and details of dozens of concurrent clips.
They adopted Pipedrive—a sales CRM—as their central project platform because its pipeline view, fast item creation, automatic linking, and filtering for customers, resources and timelines matched their needs. Each video is a Deal moved through tailored pipelines (sales, project management, postproduction), giving managers a clear overview and quick access to details; the system now houses all project data and will be extended with time-tracking integrations via API.
