UrbanStems is a New York–based on-demand flower delivery service that wanted to diversify beyond direct web orders by actively generating leads and pursuing recurring corporate clients. Their small sales team was tracking prospects in Excel, which led to missed or poorly timed follow-ups; two other CRMs proved too complicated or difficult to import existing data, so they needed a simpler, reliable system.
They adopted Pipedrive (paired with lead lists from Zaarly), using email sync and pipeline stages to create and track deals directly from the inbox. This brought order to their sales process, improved follow-up timing, enabled the team to manage a larger and higher-value prospect list, and quickly led to more and bigger clients while freeing time for longer-term sales planning.
