Postlight is a New York–based software design and development firm that launched in 2015 and needed lightweight HR tooling to connect internal and remote teams. With little infrastructure in place, they struggled to track time off and employee statuses: their informal chat updates offered no reporting, no dashboard view or historical tracking, and many available tools were too bloated or lacked Google Apps integration.
