MDA National launches companion app with PING Works, reaching 700 unique users per day

MDA National faced the challenge of creating their first-ever app, a companion to their Member Online Services (MOS) portal, to provide members with quick access to key features and personalized content managed in Sitecore. PING Works was engaged to design and build this native app, which also needed to include a real-time live-chat feature for connecting with medico-legal experts.

The solution from PING Works involved developing a native app with Xamarin Forms that mirrored the MOS functionality and leveraged content from Sitecore. The app introduced new features like notifications and article PDF emailing to drive adoption. Following its launch, the app achieved strong results with approximately 700 unique healthcare professional users per day.
